Tanto el sobreendeudamiento, la falta de un colch\u00f3n financiero, la adquisici\u00f3n de patrimonio improductivo y la falta de previsi\u00f3n ante la inflaci\u00f3n son desencadenantes de la bancarrota.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En el lenguaje de las finanzas, se define como aquella situaci\u00f3n definitiva en donde el patrimonio es negativo; es decir, en donde los pasivos (como las deudas y las obligaciones financieras con terceros) superan los activos (como los bienes y derechos, que reportan beneficios econ\u00f3micos).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El sobreendeudamiento ha llegado a un punto tal que es imposible cumplirle a los acreedores; aunque se refinancien las deudas y se extiendan los plazos, ser\u00e1 matem\u00e1ticamente imposible aumentar los activos. Literalmente no hay dinero ni recurso alguno que permita seguir con la actividad econ\u00f3mica que se ven\u00eda desarrollando.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es una situaci\u00f3n irreversible, de modo que no hay forma de remediarlo. Lo que sigue a la quiebra es la liquidaci\u00f3n de los bienes que a\u00fan tengan alg\u00fan valor.
